What formats of the Australian Record Retention Manual (ARRM) are available?

The Australian Record Retention Manual (ARRM) is available in a variety of different formats, including:

Hardcopy - (pre-drilled to fit 2, 3 or 5 hole ring binders). Despite the advent of technology and the use of CD-ROM's to improve searching, the hardcopy edition is still the most popular edition we produce.

CD-ROM – available in both single user and multi user versions. Bookmarked for ease of navigation, the CD ROM version of the manual is ideal for those organisations with offices in more than one location, including overseas. The multi user licence agreement allows you to load the CD-ROM onto your corporate intranet or wide area network for access by the various locations. Of course if you want all the benefits of the hardcopy without the problem of storage, then the CD-ROM single user licence is the ideal way to go.

TRIM schedules - working with Sigma Data, IEA created a TRIM schedules version of this popular resource. This version is ideal for those organisations who are using the TRIM records management software and have not yet developed a retention and disposal for their records. We provide you with an electronic file that you can simply import into the TRIM system, and we give you detailed instructions on how to do it. For more information please see our publications page.

Is it cheaper if I susbcribe?

The first copy/edition of the manual you purchase is bought at the standard rate. However, once you have decided to join our subscriber base, we will offer you a substantial discount for the second and subsequent purchases.

In October each year, we will send you an invitation to subscribe to the next edition. This contains the cost for the year and options on how to pay for the publication, as well as some information on the changes we have made to the manual. Whilst we could charge the same r.r.p, after all you do receive a brand new re-written and updated copy of the manual, we don't. The subscriber price for the single user CD ROM and the Hardcopy manual is approximately 50% off the original purchase price. Considering the amount of work that goes into producing the manual each year it is an absolute bargain.

Why do I have to pre-pay the subscription?
