Gail E Murphy (B.App. Sc. (Library and Information Studies), P. Grad. Dip. Adv. Inf. & Lib. Stud.) Gail's expertise lies in the development of records management classification schemes and analysis of business processes.
Gail has considerable experience in records and information management, and has consulted to both private and public sectors. She has worked on:
Gail is an accredited trainer, and develops and runs training courses on a number of subject areas, including the use of the Australian Records Retention Manual, Development of a Records Keeping Plan and use of the TRIM Software. These can be delivered in IEA's own training room, or at clients premises as required. In addition, Gail has developed and delivered a range of training courses designed specifically for clients. Gail has also lectured on a part time basis at both Curtin University and CMC TAFE in core records management units.
An active member of the Records Management Industry within Western Australia, Gail has sat on the West Australian Branch Council of the Records Management Association of Australia (RMAA) and has been a committee member for the 14th National Convention of the RMAA held in Perth.
Gail joined the team at Information Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd (IEA) as an associate consultant in 1992.
Prior to joining IEA, Gail was employed in both the public and private sectors in various roles within the library and records management sector.
