Quality Coordinator
Kay Hack MRCSA is Information Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd (IEA's) Quality Coordinator. Each year Kay manages the process that takes us through the quality accreditation that underpins IEA's core business values.
After leaving secretarial college, Kay was employed in the Sales and Export Division of Lotus Sports Cars, which meant that she had the rather enviable job of attending the London Motor Show each year.
After migrating to Perth with her family in the early 80's Kay was employed by J Blackwood & Son, rising through the ranks to become Branch Coordinator, State Training and Quality Coordinator, and was instrumental in implementing the new computer and quality systems, traveling throughout Western Australia to train staff in the new systems and processes.
After nearly 11 years with Blackwoods, Kay decided on a career change and moved into the Recruitment industry, working first and foremost with a small recruitment consultancy, before joining IEA in 1998.
Throughout her career, Kay has shown a level of dedication to the processes that has enabled her to successfully implement quality procedures and processes into both large and small organizations. As an auditor, Kay's eye for detail has ensured that IEA has managed to successfully move to ISO 9001:2000.
Kay is an affiliate member of the Quality Society of Australasia. In addition Kay is a member of the Recruitment & Consulting Services of Australia (RCSA) and gained professional entry-level qualifications to the RCSA. This has assisted her in her role in the Employment Services Team, working closely with the Employment & Consulting Services Coordinator and the Employment Liaison Officer in order to provide the personalized employment service that IEA has become renowned for within the library and records management industry.
She is an accredited trainer and uses these skills to pass on knowledge and experience in a variety of disciplines including auditing, induction programmes and Occupational Health & Safety.
